How many guests does The Paddock suit?
The Paddock particularly suits relaxed celebrations of around 50 to 150 guests. Cocktail-style weddings work well here, with people moving between the lawns, wine barrels and reception venue. Planning something larger? Tell us your numbers and we'll talk through what's possible.
Can all our guests stay?
The cabins sleep up to 66 people in total. That includes eight self-contained cabins with ensuites and kitchenettes, plus additional bed-only cabins. More guests can stay onsite in tents or caravans, so 66 is the cabin capacity, not the total number of wedding guests. Tell us your numbers and we can talk through the sleeping arrangements.
Do we have to clean on Sunday?
Post-wedding venue cleaning is included. Put rubbish in the bins and take your belongings and decorations with you. You'll also need to arrange collection of hired items with your vendors. Our cleaners handle the normal venue reset.
When do we arrive and leave?
For the Wedding Weekend, arrive on Friday to settle in and start setting up. Choose four days and check in from 2pm Thursday, unless otherwise arranged. Sunday morning is yours to enjoy together, with departure around lunchtime. We don't book weddings back-to-back. We'll confirm arrival arrangements with you before your stay.
Are food and drinks included?
You arrange food and drinks separately. Bring your own alcohol and choose your caterer and vendors, or ask us for recommendations. There's no corkage or compulsory food and drinks package.
Do we need an exact date to enquire?
No. A preferred month, season or year is enough to start the conversation. Let us know how flexible you are and we'll check what could work.
Can we see the property before booking?
Absolutely. Once we've talked through your dates, we can arrange a private tour so you can see the spaces and cabins and ask questions.
What facilities do campers and bed-only cabins use?
Shared toilets and showers are beside the reception building, at the cabin 11 end of the undercover area. There is also a shared BBQ area. The eight self-contained cabins have their own ensuites and kitchenettes.
Can we bring pets?
Let John know in advance if you’re bringing a pet so we can confirm arrangements. Keep pets close, use a lead when needed and clean up after them.
Can we have a campfire?
Ask John before lighting a fire. Use only the designated fire area when conditions and current fire restrictions allow it.
Can we book a group stay or a function?
Yes. Tell us your dates, guest numbers and the kind of gathering you’re planning. Group stays and functions are arranged directly with John, with a quote for your requirements.
